I happened upon a video of Metallica yesterday (playing Screaming Suicide at their show in Dublin on the 21st) and thought of you. Looked like a great show.

Most people are nothing like as intelligent and rely on ready formulated concepts to do their thinking for them. Hence cant. It is needed by 80% of the population.
